Tom began his lending career in 1993 with Transmedia Network (est. 1984), a company which was a pioneer in the alternative finance industry. Transmedia eventually became what it is known as today as Rewards Network, and whose target audience was primarily independent restaurant owners. During an 18 career at Rewards Network Tom served in a variety of roles and reported directly to 3 CEO’s. Tom led sales teams of close to 100 people, and those teams contracted with tens of thousands of restaurants, and facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in financing transactions. Additionally, as Senior Vice President of Sales Tom was involved in sales management, sales training, sales pricing matrix, credit policies, collections, operational improvements, Salesforce.com steering committee and was a member of the senior leadership team. After a 3 year stint at Apollo Education Group leading a sales team calling on Fortune 500 Companies, Tom went back to his small business roots, and partnered with former Rewards Network colleagues at Pioneer Capital Group and founded Rosemont Capital in 2014.
